More Escher

I find Escher's work fascinating. What I like the most are the impossible structures. At one glance they seem perfectly normal but when looked at a little more closely you know its impossible in real life. Click on the pictures to enlarge, you really have to see the details. These are some of the ones I liked most from the ones I saw

Escher

Recently I have developed a taste for art but I'm no expert. I wanted to learn more about art and its history so I thought I would start with the famous artists first. This led me to M.C. Escher. One of his works that struck me most was Relativity (shown above). As a child I have seen this many times, many different ways but I never would have considered this art in my toddler years. How fast life changes a month ago I would never had given a second look at this or any other piece of art but now I feel I could stare at it for days and days. Also the quote 'an artist is never poor' has been echoing in my mind. Somewhere deep inside I am hoping, wishing that I was an artist or that I would become one. I guess I'll keep dreaming haha.
