@ Steve - Haha so would I. But I'm pathetic haha you see I rant about not being able to paint without even practicing painting so now in the coming months I shall start practicing. My mind is buzzing with cool ideas but right now I'm only good with a pencil haha so as a training exercise (with pencil) I am drawing my room inspired by 'My Room' by Paul Klee.
@ vilde - So do I :D. Got any other editorials that you like?
I love this editorial. The cardigans by Marc Jacobs and Missoni are really unforgettable.
David Hockney is on Lunch with the FT this weekend: http://www.ft.com/cms/s/2/80000920-2add-11de-8415-00144feabdc0.html (I work for the FT's Manila office). Quite the read with some very interesting stuff about the artist.
@ Miguel -Thanks for the link. I found some really wonderful quotes by Hockney in them.
“Most people who paint, cook – it’s about mixing things.”
“My pictures read very well from a long distance, It’s the attitude to space. I’ve always been interested in pictorial space. I’m very thrilled by space"
"The most ordinary subjects are dealt with only by the very greatest artists.”
I rememeber this editorial. Actually I have the print version of this AnotherMan issue. At my workplace there is a lot of different magazines so luckily I get to browse for free and buy a bit cheaper. Very inspiring and pop artful editorial, funny too!

Such a fantastic editorial. Hockney was definitely a style icon, and the model suits him perfectly!
